Autorevolver
The Mateba Autorevolver (also Mateba Model 6 Unica) is one of the few types of hybrid automatic revolver handguns ever made.. In the past the Webley-Fosbery was also made, but this weapon has been out of production for more than sixty years.
The Unica functions as follows: The first triggerpull is a normal double action pull, it cocks the hammer, and then releases it, firing the gun. Upon firing the upper part of the frame recoils. This movement then cocks the hammer, and automatically rotates the cylinder. When the upper frame has completely recoiled, it is pushed forward again by a spring. When it has returned to its forward position the gun is ready to fire another shot, only this time a light pull in Single-Action mode, as the hammer is already cocked and the cylinder rotated.
Self-loading Pistol
The FN HI-Power Self-loading pistol is one of the best 9-mm "single-action" combat pistols of the world. It was designed by J. Browning in 1925. It's serial production began in 1935 in Belgium national weapon factory "Fabrique Nationale" (FN).
It is still produced under various names and is in service with Belgian Army and Police, United Kingdom Army, Israel Police and a number of other countries with military and law enforcement agencies. It is one of the longest living pistols alongside with the Colt M1911, TT and Walther PP.

Most expensive shotguns
Most expensive i have shot, was a one of a matched pair supposedly that belonged to Lord Mountbatten, cousin to Queen Elizabeth II. It was a Purdey 12 guage, but used short (i think 2 1/2 inch shells)chambers, busted two clays with it. then handed it back before i did something stupid and had to sell my house to have it fixed.
I remember reading about someone paying a 1/2 mill or more for a shotgun at an auction last year or the year before. IIRC, owned by someone american and famous, world class pedigree and provenance and history and absolutely finest kind of gun work to boot. trying to find the email that had the link in it, Maybe Pattons model 21 winchester or parker, not sure but it was a name like that. might have been a movie stars gun or maybe TR's. I just remember looking at the gun and going WOW> Not as high as a Colt in the same auction that went for $825K or so, a 1849 NIB engraved, never fired, maybe one of six ever made like it, none in its condition.
Best Guns for the Discerning Sportsman
In the Victorian and Edwardian eras, amid the Industrial Revolution, great strides were made in the refinement of sporting guns, which had remained virtually unchanged for several hundred years. First was the invention of percussion caps on the hammers to replace the unreliable flintlocks. Next came a revolutionary lever-operated action mechanism that allowed the gun to be breech-loaded and mechanically recocked at the same time. Thus, instead of having to cram all the stuff down the muzzle, the hunter had merely to insert into the breech a self-contained shell consisting of shot, powder, and firing cap, snap the breech shut, and he was armed and ready. Following this was the so-called hammerless shotgun, which put the hammers inside the action for a cleaner, streamlined appearance. Then came the discovery of smokeless, high-explosive “nitro” gunpowder, which fortunately coincided with the invention of high-tensile “fluid” steel for the gun barrels. The weaker “twist” or Damascus steel that had been used till then works perfectly well in swords for chopping off heads in the Middle East, but is inclined to blow up when used in conjunction with nitro cartridges in shotguns.
